CURRENT MISSION

I am looking to explore the world and other cultures. When I go to another city I want to spend 25% of my time seeing things "everybody sees" and 75% of the time experiencing local culture. I look for couch surfing to give me experiences resorts cant!

ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people and experiencing new things. My greatest passion is sports in general. I love the thrill of competition and getting better at something. Soccer/football is my main game and I hope to play in every country I visit with local people.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to enjoy life everyday and not get caught up in boring or negative things. Too many people are defined by their jobs and I don't want to be like that or be stuck around people like that.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My wife and I will be having our first child this year but I am hoping to get back involved with couch surfing once she gets a little older.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done couchsurfing but unfortunately not through this site yet. While in Europe we met a lot of great people and had chances to stay with some and others we stayed at our own hostel and met up with our new friends each day. My wife and I still stay in contact with a lot of these people through facebook and I hope to be able to offer that same experience to others on their travels to Indiana.

Interests

My interests are Soccer and sports in general. History is very interesting to me and I want to learn more about art and whines.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mumford and sons is a band that I have been listening to a lot lately but other than them, I don't focus on one type of music or artist. I really couldn't tell you who sings a majority of the songs that I like. I like music but it's not a passion. I can sit down and watch any movie, no matter how good or bad it is. One of my favorite movies is "the presitge".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been white water rafting, ran a marathon, did a sprint triathalon, and backpacked through Europe with my wife for a month! My most amazing accomplishment is yet to come. My wife and I have created a baby who will be due this year!!!
