About Me

Greetings prospective CS hosts and/or surfers! I like to keep things brief and concise, because as much as I'd love to throw a wall of text at you, it'll probably end up being rather terrible at conveying anything meaningful. I was also editing my autobiography-length profile earlier on the train and the spotty internet wiped it out, but I'm going to stick with the whole efficiency excuse.

Currently:
Just got back from biking across Europe for two months. My legs hate me, and are now appropriately disproportional to the rest of my body, so I'm taking a few months off to indulge in a cake and chocolate diet and be lazy before going back into tech. Also this section is most definitely outdated, because I probably forgot to update my profile.

Life milestones:
- I've been shocked by 40,000 volts
- Built some awesome robots
- Been sued by a 47 billion $ company for breaking their code
- Finished two IronMan races, and looking for the next one
- Now building what is basically "Skynet" from terminator
- Still alive at 30 (I have absolutely no idea how)
- Biked over the Swiss Alps and across most of Europe

Other important(ish) stuff:
I used to work in some high-level IT stuff - programming, artificial intelligence, information security, datacenter design, antisocial cave dwelling, etc. I'm now an avid hiker, biker, swimmer, runner, climber, eater of tasty things, and pursuing studies in quantum computing and physics. I also flirt with LD50 levels of caffeine on a regular basis.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people and learning from them - I'm on here to say hi, grab food, go adventuring, have fun, and get into some trouble together, not just to have a place to crash. I've only had awesome experiences hosting so far, and I generally try to give priority to international travelers. Often my schedule is pretty chaotic, so feel free to throw me a last-minute request if you're in need, there's always a chance I'll be available.
