About Me

I hosted about 400 travelers over the years. Mostly when I lived in NYC where I was one of the first Manhattan hosts. If you can imagine 400 travelers coming and going you can imagine the stories and experiences and fun I have had/ seen. I am very open minded to all lifestyles. I have experienced a lot of fun and adventure from this site and traveled the world meeting my ex surfers which was always fun.

Almost all my photos are from when I hosted in NYC. I keep them here for my memories, but they are mostly of just myself and some CS I hosted years ago. I do not party as much as it seems in these photos (although I am not against it, I just don't in LA as much as I did in NYC).

I live at the beach in LA at the sand/ocean. So if you like the beach that’s 10 steps away.

I bike to Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Venice Beach and Santa Monica Beach very easy. Those spots are also all 15 minutes or less by car.

I am open to hosting someone that is low key, or someone that wants to let loose a bit and get wild. I have done and seen it all (many times). Since I used to be a big partier i am ok if you are, but I'm also super chill and low key. Come to do your thing, or come to hang with me. I’m down for either. I work from home and I do wake up early. If I have time I will hang with my surfers but the bus is 30 seconds from me and takes you to Santa monica and Culver City and from there you can get anywhere.

My town is a small beach town in Los Angeles. it has a few bars, coffee shops, some restaurants and is great to walk on the beach.

I live alone in a 3 bedroom. I used to have a dog but he passed. If you have a quiet one I’m ok with that.

I prefer to spend time with my guests if possible, though lately work does take up my time.

Easy going and chatty. I can talk for hours about my CS and life experiences and can probably write a few books on it.

Just looking for an easy going, respectful guest. Nothing too complicated.

I used to own a bar / music venue in Nashville TN, and I love live music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the interaction of connecting with travelers. I prefer to only host travelers who are visiting LA or someone that at least wants to chat and hang out a little bit. Not someone that uses the bedroom closes the door and we never talk nor see each other, in that case- get an airbnb or something (or I will take donations, lol).
Since I love to travel, and have been all over, having travelers come to me makes me feel like I am on vacation,
I love giving back to people as I can provide a nice safe pace for someone to stay and enjoy.

Interests

I like going out, shooting pool, late night walks on the beach. Massages, bonfires, like warm weather over cold weather though. I like exploring, traveling, creating experiences and making memories. I write have written lyrics/songs in Nashville where I lived for 5 years. I've also lived in Denver.

Music, Movies, and Books

All types as long as the words are good.
