Hi!
My name is Nedi and I just graduated the german high school in Sofia, Bulgaria.
I am super into sport and rock climbing (indoors and outdoors), hiking and dancing.
I do theater in my free time and I'm pretty serious about it. This fall I'll apply to the Theater academy in Sofia.
Recently I started doing yoga and I love it, especially the Hot Yoga.
I can also cook pretty good so you won't regret having me ;) banana pancakes are my specialty.
I love travelling, Erasmus, all kinds of trips and adventures, love the outdoors and the mountains, as well as the sea, diving, swimming and snorkeling. I also skii, snowboard and do horseback riding :)
I would say I'm a crazy head, I talk a lot, but don't worry - I know how to shut up if I have to hahah
Last summer I did a month long trip around Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and a bit of Belgium. I am open to sharing my stories and hearing yours

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting locals wherever I go and Couchsurfing will give me this opportunity. I also travelled for month and a half last summer and I can 100% say that CS saved my life! (All I had was a soaking wet tent, a soaking wet sleeping bag and a friend... - I'm willing to tell this story if I meet you) What CS and Erasmus both have in common is that they help you make friends all around Europe and the world which I find most valuable in every trip. + The experience is 100 times better with cool people

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to alternative rock, EDM, maybe one or two old time commercial tracks, but mainly Red Hot Chilly Peppers and Pink Floyd, some other bands I like are The Kooks, Cage the elephant, The Lumineers, I'm recently into 'Brother Culture' and 'Biga ranx' .
Currently I'm interested in documentaries and climbing movies like 'Down wall', 'Valley uprising' (not a fan of Free solo tough, too commercial, fan of Alex Honnold himself haha)
True Harry Potter fan.
I really think I haven't watched enough of the classic movies so I'm planning on working on that in the future.
Terry Pratchet books from The Discworld are my love, as well as books about climbing and alpinism

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled around Turkey hitchhiking and wild camping with two other girls my age (aka 18) It was INSANE.
I also flew with a baloon over Cappadokia.
I spend a month around Norway, hiking, wildcamping, backpacking. Best experience in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning about local culture, history, interesting facts, as well as communicating with locals and learning from them. In my opinion the only way to experience a country is through the locals, their advice and their lifestyle. I am easy to talk to, curious and will ask questions about everything local I see hahah
(I also love dogs and cats)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love spreading bulgarian culture and history so if my hosts have never been to Bulgaria I can surely bring a piece of it to them

+ I am super laid back and self-sufficient so if you are wondering whether or not to host me - no worries, I'm super flexible. I will enjoy spending some time together, talk, have a beer but if that doesn't suit you and you have no time - no problem, I can work around your schedule - even just the couch works for me!
