French gril, travelling with my partner William, we enjoyed our Working Holiday Visa in New Zealand and want to continu the adventure in Australia.
I worked as a guide in south of France, I love my home country and its culture and share my knowledge about it : food, history, art,... And I love even more to meet new culture and people, or to share a talk about the world.
My partner is a P.T and sport teacher, big fan of outdoor and adventure and he is also a (very) good cook! (that makes me jalous). I also pratice Yoga and love it, it brought me a lot in my life. We are friendly, easy going, good sense of humour (for french guys :p ), clean and tidy and would love to meet you during our trip :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since my partner and I started travelled the world (currently NZ for a WHV and next step Pacific Island and Australia) we discovered how poeple can be generous and interesting, and we would like to go farther by meeting more amazing guys from around the world. We don't have any fix adress for the moment, but as soon as we stop somewhere we will be happy to welcome home some couchsurfers ! We already did some HelpX wich was a beautiful experience, to know ourselves and deeply know the country were yougo. We heard so many positiv advice about couchsurfing by backpackers we met on the road that we want to join the community !

Music, Movies, and Books

We are big fan of TV Series : GOT, Westworld, Homeland, and so much more !
I am also kind of independant cinema from around the world, not a big fan of blockbusters but is is okay for a rainy saturday night.
My favorite movies : musicals, biopic of loved artist, historic movies or movies carrying a different point of view and way of life : Walk the Line (big fan of Johnny Cash!), Moulin Rouge, LOTR (geek), Captain Fantastik, Lalaland...

I LOVE music as a musician (playing guitare and singing), most of it country and folk music, rock, and classical french songs.

My favorite book ? So hard to tell, I read everything wich under my eyes. Loved fantasy books or historic drama, love read in french and english.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, in New Zeland, we almost loose our van (and home) in a fire !
We were in Wellington, having a drink with friends. We were tired and didn't want to hang out late. But the atmosphere in the bar was so great that we drunk 3 bottles of very good wine, danced and met some nice guys who invited us to sleep at their home.
Someone stole the cigarette packet from our new friend, and he was quite angry about it (cigarette in NZ are soooo expensive) so we decided to left the bar. And at this moment we saw that a bakery was on fire and our van was park just IN FRONT of it ! Policemen were already there, my boyfriend ran, the policeman stopped him but he said "man, that's my van!!!" "O my god, said the policeman, run, run!" and we finally catch the van, but a few minutes later it would have been too late and our wheel-house would have been on fire. so, thanks the guy who stole the cigarets !

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share with my host a peace of Provence where we are from : cook a french dinner, explain about our traditions, but also have a critical gaze about europe now and what's going on there. I Would even more love to learn about my host habits, his personnal history, listen to the piece of advice he could give to us.
We have a lot of funny story to tell, cause we always have adventure during our trip (I am quite unlucky, specially with transport >.< ) and we love to talk with a glass of wine or a beer, that's what french poeple call "Apero " !
