HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING We just bought an old house and are renovating it. We would love to offer our couch...we even have an extra bed...just not yet an extra room ready to host somebody in. the extra bed is in a pretty big livingroom with a balcony next to it - so if there is no problem to crash on a bed in a livingroom all is well. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE no experiences whatsoever. except: when I was seventeen and wanted to sleep on the beach in Brighton, GB with a friend of mine...some very friendly people invited us to their couch. I never forgot this and want to give my couch to anybody who needs it, too.
