About Me

We grew up and lived for the most part in India before moving to United States few years back. We are a travel enthusiast couple and have traveled over a dozen countries so far. We enjoy exploring new places and going for adventurous trips, hiking, scuba diving, marathons. At the same time we have learned so much living in two different continents and from our travel around the world about different cultures, food, habits and lifestyles that we deeply cherish meeting new people, having profound conversations and making lasting friendships. Our favorite travel destinations include ones which are close to nature and prefer vacations that are not rushed with too many activities. We like to savor each of our travel moments!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It seems to be the right way to travel where you have the fullest opportunity to meet the locals, absorb their culture and learn their ways, methods and language through their very own eyes and experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Me and my husband together scuba dived along the vertical side of a small Maldivian island with mesmerizing blue ocean and marine creatures on one side and beautiful corals and caves on another.

We both solo trekked for hours with no soul around for miles from the snow-capped peak of Schilthorn down to this icy-blue lake and then to the flower-ridden beds of Murren valley. The silence of the mountains was both eerie and captivating.

Latest addition - Glacier walk in Alaska. The thrill of the walk near crevasse and the unfettered beauty of the surrounding is still etched in my mind.
