Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really like the idea of meeting new people, even on little micro vacations squeezed into busy schedules. I have hesitated using this site before because I hate the idea of being an inconvenience on anyone so generally like to rely on my self. I know that this is a good site though because I had a few roommates a little while ago that had traveled the world couch surfing and had made some long lasting friendships along the way. I am here now because I have little time and little money but would like to get out of KC for a couple of days.
