Get back to Costa Rica and develop social projects like the ones I developed in Mozambique

ABOUT ME

Until December 18th 2009 I was working as an Industrial Engineer in HP Costa Rica and after 5 years of working there I decided to make a change in my life. I left everything in Costa Rica and joined IICD Michigan (USA). I'm glad that I did it because this was a new phase in my life. After 7 months in Michigan I moved to Mozambique, Africa to do volunteer work with HIV communities. In Mozambique the opportunities were open and I was able to work with orphan kids, women clubs and ecological groups.

In February 2011 I came back to Michigan to present the results of the 6 months in Mozambique and to share the whole experience with the new volunteers.

In March I visited my boyfriend’s family in São Luis, Brazil to take a rest and charge the batteries for the next phase. This April my boyfriend and I are going back to Costa Rica to develop our Organization for social work.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had an experience in João Pessoa (Brazil) in 2008 and a lot of cities in USA during 2010.
