About Me

I like to explore amazing places around the world and meet awesome people. Avid record collector and occasional underground musician. Like to release home recorded cassette tapes on my own record label. Working on getting a guitar company off the ground and also sometimes do some historic preservation work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If the schedule stars align, happy to host fellow travelers or bands on tour,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Night hike among the glowworms in New Zealand, or swimming into an abandoned bar in a cliffside bat cave in Jamaica.

Teach, Learn, Share

We like making tacos from scratch, and savory waffles. Into games like Telephony, cards, dice or even chess. We could play music together, I can give drum and guitar lessons, or help you record a song on an analog 4-track. We can make 1" pins, If you've never silk-screened a t-shirt you could even check that process out.
If you're interested in local history I can tell you all about it.

If you host, I can help cook (I don't eat meat though), if you live in a neat old house, I could share basic knowledge about repairing wood sash windows, if there's time and tools maybe help re-glaze and/or re-hang one or two! I could help with graphic design, especially hand made flyers or album art (mainly lettering, layout, or collage). I like fixing things in general, and can sharpen woodworking hand tools if you have a whetstone or hone.
I might be able to help with some minor repair on instruments.
