Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Because it's an awesome way to meet people traveling here and there. I've hosted a few times. Have yet to surf. Great people living great journeys - a retired grandpa riding his bike cross-country and a beautiful young couple moving across country. And most recent, another person riding her bike around the Midwest.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: When I was younger, I said I'd always stay current. Nurp. I have no idea who is the top artist of any genre right now. Movies: Can't tell you what's in theaters right now. Or what series everyone is watching. Books: Thee most bestest pastime. Kids: I'm bored. Me: Read a book!

What I Can Share With Hosts
A spot to sleep. Where I live is mostly an in between destinations spot. However, if you're in to history, there is a lot here. I'm not an expert on the history here but have been told there is old money here, homes that were part of the Underground Railroad, and Al Capone used to hang in these parts and even had a home a few miles south.
My Interests
Depends on the day. I enjoy nature altho I don't spend near enough time in it. Volunteering with kids. Spending time with my family. I also love volunteering with my church.
