The best word I can use to describe myself is a cosmopolitan. I’ve lived in America my whole life but managed to find myself in 5 different states along the way. I love the joy of new places, people and, experiences. I’ve made up my mind to take a trip of my dreams to Europe and am excited to broaden my horizon and expand the people in my life.

音乐、电影和书籍

I enjoy a wide variety of music. Mt Joy is my favorite album at this moment in time. My favorite books consist of philosophy books, biographies, and self help books. Currently I’m reading supreme personality by Delmer Croft. I listen to more books than I read and most of witch are in the public domain. My favorite movies are tales of inspiration and motivation. I also enjoy movies that make you think. Horror movies are not for me.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Spending my high school years in Colorado I found myself in an amazing spot to spend time in the Rockies. After camping at 8,500 feet on a small mountain lake, on a moonless night, I was sure I knew the most beautiful thing in the world. Looking into the sky and seeing a mosaic of lights I could not believe. So dark I could no longer see the lake. Only a warm glow from the fire and the Milky Way splitting the sky in two. The next two most beautiful experience the mountains gave me were moments of helplessness. After a long day me and my brother climbed a small mountain by our campsite to watch the sunset and once we were happy we walked back to camp. Not knowing we got ourself turned around and walked all the way off the mountain the wrong way. The last glow of the sun under the horizon was our beam of hope to find our way back to camp. A 15 minute hike turned into 2 hours of worry in the mountains of Colorado. Lastly, after buying a tree tent for myself for the Christmas holidays I wanted to use it as soon as possible so I went up the mountains in a snow storm and found myself with a foot of snow on the ground and 8 more inches falling on me through the night. Thinking I could weather any storm with my winter gear I had no fear. I spent that night the coldest I had ever been. Finding myself jackhammering all night in the trees all night to wake up to my boots frozen stiff. I now respect the cold to no end.

If I was to teach you something it would be nothing you don’t already know. It would also be nothing I could only teach you. I’ve come to find out that what you need to learn always finds you. I hope to find wisdom from you just as much as I want to share with you.
