We previously lived in Denver, Colorado, where we were the city ambassadors from 2017 to 2019.

Brought 1,500 couchsurfers together over the years, hosting over 20 CS meetups, couch crashes, and events.

About Nick: I was born in FL, and moved to Denver as a child, and grew up in the suburbs. I lived and worked in Denver from my 2019 undergraduate studies. During that time, I worked as a paralegal for about 5 years.

About Lauren: Born in Denver and lived in the suburbs as well. We got married in college and lived downtown together. Graduated with a master's in accounting and has been working in the same field.

What I Learned on Couch Surfing:
I learned that people care a tremendous amount about each other, and, in turn, I care a tremendous amount about them. Couchsurfing is one of the most robust resources that grants people the ability to become more culturally versed. These experiences of cultural exchange are nearly impossible to obtain without this community. My travel experiences would be significantly diminished without Couchsurfing. What Couchsurfing has given me, continues to provide, will always hold a special place in my personal development and heart. I have never found such a great group of people that endlessly astound me. While meeting couch surfers and learning from them, my impression is that these people have a deep need to learn and better themselves, as well as others.

Future on Couch Surfing:
Our long-term goal is to travel to every country in the world! Short-term goal: keep traveling and meeting people!

About Nick: I tend to have a lot of hobbies and interests. Here are a few, in order of interest: international politics, cartography, coin collecting, trains, beer, and exercise.

I am trying to collect coins and bills from every country (if you bring me a coin or bill from a country that I don't have, I will almost definitely host you!)

About Lauren: road, running, trail running, tea, psychology, accounting management systems, yoga, trivia, indoor rock climbing,

About both of us: We have been to 49 countries, international regions, and states.

I hiked 4 sister peaks that were around 4267.2 meters in 5 hours. They are all really close together but it still feels really accomplishing.

We own our own home, yay!
We are still setting up the 2nd bedroom for our guests, but if we host before then, it will be on an airbed. We should have towels and WiFi as well.
