About Me

Software developer, so of course I'm a geek in some ways. But not one that spend his life on a computer, I love hiking and wild nature and been in week-long treks more than once. I grew up in the countryside and need my dose of nature regulary.

When I travel I usually look for beautiful landscapes and wild places to visit and avoid to stay too long in big cities (with few exceptions : Berlin, Granada, Glasgow and Krakow are amazing cities which I recommend you tu visit :) ).

My camera follow me everywhere I go too, and always bring few lens with me, if you are a professional photographer any advice will be more than welcome btw.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel often alone and like to meet new people across the world, couchsurfing helped me many times so I'm paying back by hosting as much as I can.

Interests

Climbing, hiking, astronomy, photography, wild nature, computer science and travelling of course.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen many kind of musics : classical music, punk, rock, blues/jazz, reggae, ska, electro/techno/minimal...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many, I usually travel alone which force you to meet and sympatize with peoples along the way, honestly I have amazing memories from almost all my trips. The biggest one : Sold all my stuff and left my flat in 2017 to travel across north America (from USA to Guatemala), took me one full year, got back totally bankrupt and in debt but totally worth it! Today I am working to save money and go again on the road ASAP.

Some othere memorable experiences :

* Saw el fuego erupt from the top of acatenango (Guatemala).
* Spend one full week hiking in Yosemite backcountry after I got my permit.
* Doing the full tour of iceland with 3 people I just met on my arrival.
* Climbed el Chichon in Mexico and took a midnight bath in the giant hot spring lake in the crater.
* Climbing the ben Nevis (Scotland) and the Rysy (Poland).
* Going to the most remote place of Poland (Cisna) to get the cleanest possible sky for doing some astrophotography and meet 2 bears on my way back in the middle of the night.

And many amazing encounter with other surfers.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help with computer science stuffs and also I'm not a professional but I knew a few tricks about how to use a camera (more precisely for astrophotography).
