Hey! My name is Nicole and I am a Canadian traveller. I am finishing up my trilingual degree in International Studies and learning more outside the classroom than in, travelling and working within South America, Europe and Africa and meeting incredible people every day. I've only Couchsurfed twice but I'm grateful to have met friends with whom I'll stay connected for a long time to come.

I love great stories, grand adventures and all things sustainable/cruelty free. I try and live/travel as sustainably as I can, leaving as light a footprint as possible wherever I go. This beautiful planet has so much to offer and I do what I can to consciously care for it in my diet and lifestyle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Solo travelling can be daunting but the Couchsurfing community is full of open minded, adventurous and welcoming people who help make the journey what it is. Couchsurfing is one of the greatest ways to enrich your travels by meeting like-minded, engaging people, swapping stories, exploring new places and making connections all around the world.

I'm now travelling with my sister! For two weeks in October we will be exploring Madrid and Andalucia. She is the one wearing rainbow leggings, on my shoulders in one of the photos. This says everything you need to know about her and about our relationship- she has her head much closer to the clouds. I keep us from flying away ;)

Interests

I am extremely open minded and always up for adventure! I love the mountains and if there are some to be found, I will certainly be found climbing them. If I'm travelling to a new city, I always get to know it by foot.
