About Me
Hi! I'm Nicole, Im a Peace Corps volunteer in Armenia. I work at a resource center for kids with disabilities. Before joining the peace corps, I was in graduate school getting my masters in social work. Also working with kids with disabilities. On weekends, I usually travel, hike, hang out at tea shops, and just chill at home and watch Netflix.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of cultural exchange. Getting to know people from around the world and learning about different cultures is something that amazes me. (One of the main reasons I am in the Peace Corps.)
Interests

Music, Movies, and Books
The Great Gatsby is my all time favorite book. Movie, I would have to say between Titanic, or the Parent Trap. (The new one) and when it comes to music, I would have to say John Mayer and Imagine Dragons.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went skydiving when I was 19. I thought it would help with my fear of heights... I certainly did not...
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach my hosts how to make the best Armenian meal. Its cheap, easy to make and very delicious. (and fun to make) I would also love to share my experience as an american living abroad as well as living in Armenia. What I could learn from my hosts would be learning about new cultures and sharing experiences.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my american culture as well as the culture of Armenia. I can help with transportation around gyumri, as well as around Armenia. Living here as an american opens my eyes to different experiences and I would love to pass on these experiences and traditions to my hosts.
