Overview
About Me
I'm a student of Biochemistry at UW-Madison in Wisconsin. I hope to one day work in research and academia. I work at 5th Element Coffee in Madison and have been a barista for 4 years on and off so I love drinking/talking coffee.
One of my most significant traveling experiences was backpacking through Europe in 2012 for 4 months. I even had the opportunity to spend a month living in Munich, Germany where I hosted some awesome people. I have also had some great times traveling the US and look forward to future travels.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing has given me the opportunity to see places through the eyes of something so much more than just a tourist. I have met wonderful people and had unforgettable experiences through Couchsurfing and I look forward to keeping the good times rolling!
Interests
I love science! A good day is one in which I learn something. I am an amateur ukulele player. Video games are life. If you like Skyrim, we're already friends. I love trying new restaurants and strive to order something new every time I revisit a restaurant.

I don't read as many books as I'd like to. I'm happy to take suggestions for what you think I should read next!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There once was an American who lead his Couchsurfers from Canada and China through the German Alps. It was an honor to show such a beautiful part of the place I had the pleasure of briefly calling home to two awesome people from different parts of the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you the three ukulele chords that you can use to make legitimately hundreds of songs.
What I Can Share with Hosts
To my hosts I offer you my friendship, a good listening ear, and as many stories as you'd like me to tell. Heck, I'll even make some up if I have to.
