Overview
About Me
I'm a sailor, an artist, a meditator, and a radical (post left). I'm mostly sober, with the exception of a very rare ceremony or one fancy social drink.
I'm also a "professional" property manager/Airbnb host for about 15 years, and now I'm traveling again.
I love meditation, yoga, sauna, nature, hiking, walks, reading, cooking, eating, adventure, sleep - early to bed early to rise.
I'm clean, considerate, and have traveled all over the world (25+ countries, and 25+ states).
I've taught yoga and lived at an off-grid remote Hawaiian spiritual center, in Bedouin tents in the Jordan desert, done mutual aid grassroots food reclamation and distribution in three states, backpacked hot pots in Iceland, and lived aboard a sailboat 3 months a year... Just to name a few.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've spent the last year reconnecting with traveling long term, 3 months or more in each location.
I'd like to offer free space in my Airbnbs, while looking for cool opportunities to meet and stay with new folks.
I'm also highly responsible and experienced with property management, and I'd love to find the right long term house sitting spot, or a house swap.

Music, Movies, and Books
Brave New World, Their Heads are Green and Their Hands are Blue (David Bowles), Female Nomad (Rita Golden-Gelman), anything by Cheri Huber (Buddhist stuff). I recently re-read a Tree Grows in Brooklyn while I was traveling, and loved it as much as I did at 13, maybe more.
I watch good epic dramas -- currently loving the Gilded Age and Mrs. Maisel is pretty good.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
horseback riding full out on a white sand beach in Thailand
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook a meal or clean your bathroom, sit your house long term, or help out with your garden.
I'm a professional yoga teacher and also a professional retreat facilitator -- if you want to do a two hour explosive visioning session together to manifest some dreams for our lives this coming year that could be powerful!
