Student of early and preschool education living in Rijeka, Croatia. I am trying to meet new people, travel around and learn about other cultures.
I enjoy reading good books with a warm cup of tea in my hand, watching movies (especially artistic ones) and hanging out with my friends. Also, I hike as much as I can and i just recently started doing yoga, so that is my main occupation at the moment. I kind of play a piano.
I'm not hosting yet but am planning to when I move to my own place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is a great way for meeting new people and exploring the world around us. I think you get to see more of a city when you have a help of a local people. Also, it is always nice to meet young people and exchange thoughts with them. I believe than you can become a better, more open minded person by that.

In general, I listen what I like. Mostly rock. Some of my favorite artists are: Alice in Chains, Amy Winehouse, Sixto Rodriguez, Tool, John Frusciante, Beth Hart, Lana Del Rey, Leonard Cohen and Madrugada

I love artistic movies. These are the ones I like best: Mommy, The Fountain, Soldiers girl, Into the wild, Moonlight, Only Lovers Left Alive, Princess Mononoke, 5 centimeters per second, Searching for Sugarman, American History X and about everything from Jim Jarmusch and Darren Aronofsky. I also watch TV series such as Breaking Bad, The True Detective and Shameless

I read a lot when I have time for that. The best books that I have read by now are: Never let me go, Loneliness on the Net, Silk, About the Author, Lord of the Flies, Memoirs of a Geisha

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking and it would be great if I could learn to make traditional dishes of countries I've visited. I can teach you some words of my language (Croatian) and share parts of my culture.
