Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love making friends, especially those that live all over the world. When I am not visiting my friends in other parts of the world, I like to travel viscerally by hosting.

Also, I like to host because I am not interested in “blind” couchsurfing – in other words I’d rather visit your home if we’ve met and you’ve stayed in mine. It’s more convenient for me (and more fun!) than sending out several requests and dealing with people who don’t know who you are and ask strange questions or make unreasonable requests. No, I'm not a nudist. Please keep your clothes on!

I hope you'll agree that staying in someone's home is a special privilege (for guest, and host). I respond to all messages, so if I send you a response asking for more information, and your stay does not work out, please don't be disappointed or discouraged! Positive and easygoing travelers are welcome.

I look forward to staying with you, if you’ve stayed with me.
