Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hi there,

I am relocating to LA from the Bay Area. Originally from NY, I moved to SF in 2004 to attend graduate school and stayed. I have been planning this relocation for the last year. I expect my first month of September will be spent reconnecting with old friends, job hunting, home hunting, and researching about all of the above.

I am new to Couchsurfing, however familiar with the curious spirit emanating from those of us with wanderlust. I have many examples of fortuitous encounters with cool, generous, kind, peaceful people . around the world. Although I have much to do when I first arrive, I look forward to meeting kindred spirits along the way.
