About Me
Heyo,
I'm a third culture kid (half Swiss, half Russian) currently living at the Edinburgh Student Housing Cooperative and am loving my time in Scotland. I'm a big fan of the outdoors and hope that through understanding more about the nature that surrounds us we can move towards an existence more in line with it. I've somehow managed to live in 10 different countries so we'll definitely find something to talk about.
My favourite vegetable is the sweet potato.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The people that you travel with and meet on your journeys really shape the experience and couchsurfing gives you this great opportunity to meet such a colourful group of people that hopefully leave a mark on you just as much as the place you were visiting!
Interests
I am interested in all things to do with ways that we can learn from the environment. I really want to get into urban growing and am currently trying to learn about permaculture. Living in an intentional community has also made me very interested in looking at what social structures we are happiest in.
My hobbies include photography, hillwalking/hiking and scuba diving. I'm also a capoeirista and guitarist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've walked 100 miles along the West Highland Way!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a very open person in my views, meaning I believe we should be able to discuss and question anything in order to learn.
Living in many different countries has also given me an interesting perspective on different cultures, so if you don't get sick of me I'm always happy to share about what life can be like in the places that I've lived.
Long discussions about the future of our planet are also an option
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've gotten pretty good at making great big hearty vegan meals. I also live in a student housing cooperative so have some experience in democratic social housing.
