About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to not have a mission.
ABOUT ME
An avid traveller, I never turn down an opportunity for a new adventure! I'm easy-going and very adaptable, I try to be open-minded as best I can - and I like to have a laugh. I'm grounded and upbeat at the same time.
My favourite part of traveling is the people I can encounter and learn about. A very close second favourite is... everything else you can discover while travelling!
I'm not sure where I see myself in the future, but I hope to stick to these parts of myself. I've just graduated and I'm finishing my Master in London next year, after that who knows!
PHILOSOPHY
You get out of life what you put into it.
"It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all - in which case, you fail by default." - J.K. Rowling.
And anything Oscar Wilde said. =P
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm planning a trip all around Eastern Europe this summer with a friend. It's a region I have never been to before but I feel very drawn to it and eager to explore new places! So any tips or advice or couch offers are welcome.
At the moment I do not have a couch available, however I would be more than happy to meet any visitors coming to Paris (my current location) and help them out if needed.
When I leave Paris next year, 'my couch' situation may change and I would be very enthusiastic to meet/host people from all over the world and we can swap some travel stories.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None as of yet but I have heard great things about CS. I really like the concept. I hope that there is always a place for visitors to stay when they travel.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can appreciate most kinds of music but I definitely prefer rock and alternative styles (the Coronas, BellX1, the Kills, Bloc Party, MuteMath, etc.).
Books are a terrible addiction of mine, I can't visit a bookshop and not buy anything. It's a cross-genre addiction too: fiction, non fiction, fantasy, classics, everything as long as it's well written! Some favorite writers: Oscar Wilde, John McGahern, Anne Enright, Scarlett Thomas, Murakami
I love going to the cinema and watching movies at home. Foreign and unknown movies are the best, I love discovering new stories. Feel free to recommend some!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A family of five on the back of a single moped speeding through the backstreets of Naples.
A man paying off another with a dozen roses after offending him in a bar (Bergen, Norway).
Writing my name in chalk on the wall of China.
A man falling backwards off his bar stool without spilling even a drop of his pint of Guinness, getting back up and continuing his conversation. This was in Ireland, of course.
A military drill display to hip hop music in Prague Square which included a Polish beat/boxing officer.
Countries I’ve Visited

Countries I’ve Lived In
