My name is Nikola Dyulgyarov. I spent my youth in the small town of Sevlievo, Central Bulgaria, exploring the mountains and forests with friends, photographing and filming my adventures. I became increasingly interested in film photography and analog processes, which led me to study Organic Chemistry and Visual Arts at Rice University, Houston TX. During my time in the US, I was lucky to travel on the East and West Coasts, as well as Mexico and Belize, which inspired my current dream of learning Spanish and hitchhiking across South America. Following my graduation, I have been back in Bulgaria, working on short documentary and travel films with a close friend. I intend to continue my artistic pursuits and travel globally, as well as to start teaching photography to aspiring youth.
