About Me

I have a lot of dreams, one of them is exploring the world. I am still figuring out the best way to do so. I am eager to meet new people and experience new culture. My close friends say I am cheerful and very energetic, some say I keep making people laugh. People I just met say I am friendly and open-minded, some may say I am quite, but just wait til they see the real me. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see the world although I haven't got the chance to explore it. When I was planning my travel through Europe (eventhough I didn't know when & how, I just like to plan my dream as if it is happening soon and I won't miss the chance to be well prepared), I stumbled on a blog which suggest Couchsurfing & I was just so eager to see who I can meet and share with from all over the world. From here, I feel like exploring the world is already so close. :)

Interests

I love watching movies, writing and traveling. Not to forget my dream to continue my study in Netherlands.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: anything that is not too loud
Movies: Marvel's, The Proposal, Sherlock Holmes
Books: Sherlock Holmes

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting South Korea, especially the palace where "Princess Hours" lives, after dreaming about it for 5 long years (I told you, dreaming about traveling makes it come true)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a lecturer, so teaching is in my daily schedule. However, it's not just it, by teaching, I am learning a lot. When teaching small children how to call me Aunty, I learn that people address us not the way we want it, but the way we deserve it. I like sharing experience and knowledge, though I don't really fancy a lengthy advice of how I should do things without people at least listening to what I have to say about them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my cooking skill (although I am still learning), especially traditional Buginese/Makassarese food, I can teach them Bahasa Indonesia or Buginese language with its Lontara font, or anything that we can come up with.

Countries I’ve Visited

Indonesia, South Korea

Countries I’ve Lived In
