Hi there! šš½ Iām Nina, a born and raised Dutchie. It all started in April 2018 when I left Holland to start a new life in Australia. During my time in Australia I've been out and about, worked as an equine trainer and have seen different places. It has been such a good experience! I've met and travelled around the world a bit and met a lot of awesome other couchsurfers! All the amazing in-depth conversations has enriched me ginormously! After 3 years I got back on the road again, mainly traveling in Southern Africa. At this very moment I am living a slowmadic life in South-Eastern Asia, creating my own business while at the same time seeing beautiful nature, meeting beautiful people. I like the simple living, living in the moment, taking it day by day, focusing on my happiness and tranquility. I am a slow budget (but with a bit of comfort š) traveler with a love for (trail)running and hiking in nature. During my travels I love to check out food places for vegan and/or Whole Foods.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I like to meet like minded travelers and locals, really get to know them, have in-depth conversations and visit places I'd never visit if I'd be in a town as a tourist. The hidden gems are the best!
Music, Movies, and Books
I love every type of music with the right melody. I'm quite lyrical and like to singalong (be prepared if we end doing a little roadtrip). I like reading books or articles about neuroscientifical or healthy food stuff.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Kitesurfing in the Sahara Being 4 meters away from a humpback whale and her calf Living in the outback Walk the Olomana trail in Oahu, Hawaii Hiked on a sleeping volcano in Japan Found my way on a big scrambling hike in by following the vultures in Naxos, Greece. Been to an halfway outside onsen with mountain view in Kamikawi, Japan Climbed dune 45 in Sossusvlei Camping in the Namib Desert Bumped into a group of Dolphins while snorkeling around Mnemba Island, Tanzania.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've many useless facts stored in my brain, which come up whenever! I've once started the beginning of slacklining..love it and maybe can teach you the beginnings as well (if we have a slackline ;))!
What I Can Share With Hosts
I can share my (travel)experiences, knowledge of outback Australia and neuropsychology, I'm quite talkative with the right company and I like good in-depth convo's. I like to have fun and not take life toooo seriously. I can share my humor, I hope you like it too ;) I'm a social neat person and like to help another out where I can.
