ABOUT ME

We are Nir Chemaya and Tom Fried,we are two israeli friends that have been friends for many years, since we where kids. and we are doing a big bicycle trip together in Europe.

Nir visited last year Argentine,Bolivia, Peru, Ecuodor, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico, Cuba, and done with Tom a road trip through the U.S in about 20 states. and the list is not over yet.

in our personal life we do alot of sport, and consider it a hobby for good health. we are just about to become students in the university , and we want to make a big trip together in this summer which involve sport. and then we thought about cycling through Europe.

A little bit about NIR-

I was born in Ecuodor, and grow up in Haifa, Israel.
After finishing my army service,I started a big trip all over America, which lasted a year.
I enjoy sports and like to run in the Mountains uphill.
I love traveling and seeing interesting places.I love to write and I have already published a book.

A little bit about TOM-

I am from Haifa as well. I got out of the army, and before i start med school I want to travel with my best friend. I like to Hyke, sport , and snowboarding.
looking forward to meeting people and seeing new places !

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking for people to meet in the Europe.
Most of all, I want to see how people live in the cities that I visit. I am interested in discovering other ways of living. I i wish to see interesting thing in the city that I would not see by myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing was in San Francisco at Jeremy's house.It was a good experience. Jeremy showed us the city in really interesting ways. staying in someone's home is more interesting and great way to learn about the local culture then hostels.

Interests

Sports -We are a big fan of all the sports.We run a lot . We are also do a lot of Bicycles trips and swimming.

Parties- we love to dance and if there are salsa music it is even better.

Traveling- We have travel to many countries.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music-most of all I love salsa music,it startes when I arrived to cali in columbia.But I am ok with everything.We like RHCP, U2 , Led zepplin and pink floyd.

I love also a isreli music ,it realy good music and also the words are powerful.

movies : A scent of a woman, Pursuit for happines, Batmen the dark knight. The other guys, Snatch , Fight Club,Forest Gump , 007 Casino royal.

Book-
Books of philosophy is the best.
I am realy crazy about the book of Nitche
also : Moby dick, Don Quisote ,The illiad , Robinson Cruso, A tale of two cities, Great Expectations, When Nitche Cried, Blindnes , etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My dream came true when i did a big trip that started in Argentina and finished in USA.
I've traveled all over south and central america.

I also wrote a book :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share the stories of my world trip.
I also like to share the history of my country.
I will be happy to teach people of salsa moves.
I can give some tips about sports and running.
I can teach people how to speak hebrew, spanish
