About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I would like to meet new people in order for we could share sheer knowledge, mutual interests, cultures and different perspectives of life. Moreover, I would love to make friends.

ABOUT ME

I beg to introduce myself as Nisal Kevin Kotinkaduwa who is yet an undergraduate student in Natural Sciences; I am studying at The Open University of Sri Lanka, and studying to become a Pure Mathematician. I am 26-years-old. For my Masters Degree, I shall be migrating to the Texas Tech University which is situated in the United States of America.

I live in Sri Lanka which is situated in the Indian Ocean. Historians regarded Sri Lanka as the pearl of the Indian Ocean. I am a very open minded person who very much likes simplicity.
My mind prefers not the "nationality concept" so I absolutely despise ignorant divides especially (RACE).

I should define myself as adventurous for my greatest pleasures rest in such areas which are indeed adventurous. I am a SCUBA-diver; I love snorkelling along the coral reefs. Diving is where I experience an extra dimension. I have been involved in Marine conservation and especially Sea Turtle Conservation.

Furthermore, I go on many excursions to ancient places by reason of the fact that there are so many tremendous places to be visited. If I were to proffer two of my passions in here, I should probably mention photography and Chess; though I am not well-trained in getting photographs, I could regard the latter as one of my favorite activities.

Before I shall terminate, I very much hope this introduction of mine was sufficiently enough to get a coherent image of who I am.
Moreover, I might like to apologise greatly if I failed to illuminate my introduction with clarity.

Thank you very much!

PHILOSOPHY

The two words 'Personal Philosophy', for me, are quite heavy, but I shall describe someone else's idea to which I really moved.

'Nobody ever figures out what life is all about, and it doesn't matter. Explore the world. Nearly everything is really interesting if you go into it deeply enough'.

Professor Richard Phillips Feynman (11 May 1918 €“---15 February 1988) Nobel Prize in Physics (1965)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A few words ought to be added with regard to the manner of how I look upon couch-surfing experience. I must proclaim that I had an infinite height of pleasure because the travellers whom I met were simply amazing. Each traveller, for whom I have an enormous admiration, shared their stories, adventures, perspectives of life and how they see the world. Now, the travellers whom I hosted are regarded as friends. Nothing makes the earth seem so spacious as to have friends at a distance; they doubtless make the latitude and longitudes. Finally, I shall be eternally grateful to each and every friend who contributed something noble to my life. Thereby I may well become a kind of person who would appreciate and admire every other human being whom I meet in the journey of life.
