About Me
Since 2017, I'm traveling around India. So unable to host you ....
Myself from Kaneri Math in Kolhapur district. I like to travel and to read story and philosophical books. I also like to make new friends and keep relationships for lifetime. I likes mountains like Himalaya.
I have a dream…..After reading swami Vivekananda’s life story, traveler born inside me! I wish to travel around the world but it looks like not possible for me as I’m a monk and I do karma yoga (earn almost nothing!). It is highly appreciated if you help me in this (by guiding me, donating for it, supporting me in any possible way)
Hosting:
You are going to stay in 1350 years old historic hindu monastery / ashram located in remote, quiet place and away from busy city noise.
Official website of the ashram http://www.siddhagirimuseum.org/
It’s a holly place, having temple around, monk staying here so you have to follow below rules.
Drinking Alcohol, having or bringing Non-Veg food including Egg, Smoking inside or around ashram is not allowed! Don't be loud and noisy in the night time. Wear proper full dress, no shorts.
Other than short stay on couchsurfing, we are also looking for volunteers who like to stay with us for long term. If you like to volunteer here, you are welcome. We have acres of organic farm, Kitchen, cow shed with 800 cows and many other official work and shops where you can volunteer..
You will be provided simple private room or common hall to sleep but secured for bag pack where some time you may have to pay rent or without rent. Free vegetarian food will be served (all 3 meals…. breakfast, lunch, dinner)..
If you are a male you can come as a volunteer here for 15 to 30 days long.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been introduced to couchsurfing when I was doing karma yoga in one of the community. I liked this concept as I love to make new friends, love to talk with travelers and share experiences, like to hear travel stories and as I’m also looking forward to travel around the world, I think I get lot of information and new friends from around the world who help me in this in every possible way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year I left my monastery with very less money and without tell to anyone ( ran away ) for travel to all over India. Depends on God. With the thought of "Do or Die". My first travel.
Teach, Learn, Share
" Vasudaiv kutumbakam"
" वसुदैव कुटुंबकम"
it's a Sanskrit word, it means; "Whole world is my Family. I am a member of this my large Family."
What I Can Share with Hosts
My travel experiences, talk on spirituality, like to do karma yoga or kind of social work too. I can teach yoga and meditation. I am open to do
whatever possible help from my side.
