ABOUT ME

London is my love and I want to show others what's so amazing about it!

I'm quiet and would rather listen to the other person than talk about myself, so I guess I can be called an introvert. But once past that, my friends say I am a child at heart and I feel it myself! I love to laugh and to make people laugh. My sense of humour is directly proportional to how relaxed I am around the people accompanying me (beware of silly, random odd comments).

PHILOSOPHY

Always keep an open mind and be happy with what you have :) Must learn to appreciate the smaller things in life. We tend to forget about the things of value and simple pleasures right under our very noses whilst searching to pursue bigger and better things.

Also...you can try loads but never change an absent-minded professor :P

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I’m living with family and am not in a situation to host. Hopefully someday I will get to both surf and host. For now, I look forward to showing this amazing city around to those who visit.

I always love meeting new people from different walks of life and getting to know them, hearing their stories... what better chance to do this than through CS!

I love participating in volunteering activities, good way of doing fun and new things whilst hopefully helping good-willed organizations accomplish valuable projects which could not have been possible without the help of volunteers.

Self-improvement is another interest of mine, I always seek the opportunity to develop and enrich myself as a person, to be able to live happily and healthily and love to see others do the same for themselves

Someday I want to travel lots. Lots and lots. I love sitting there daydreaming and making up itineraries...

I have learnt to swim recently too, man it's fun. :).

音乐、电影和书籍

Music is a big part of me. I love to be able to fall back into music like it's a big comfy bed...just delve into it and sink in. I love all sorts from all over the world and love to discover new music. Live music is my one true love.

When it comes to books and movies I enjoy deep heartfelt stories. Currently reading Sons and Lovers by D.H. Lawrence. Classic novels are great. I like comics and graphic novel adaptations of classic novels too! Always need something to read on the train. I love stand up comedy and short films. Try to avoid rom-coms, box office populars. Too many favourites to mention!

Amazing things for me could be the simplest things like the way my heart swells up when I see an old friend after many years!

Um...I can teach conversational Bengali in case you ever need it? Or one or two things about biology and genetic engineering. I can show the basic steps of salsa dancing too...or to play the harmonium, although I'm not sure if we'll ever have one handy, haha

I myself would love to be introduced to some new music! Or to learn the basics of playing a saxophone or guitar...or some language maybe. Anything, really.
