About Me

I'm a recent masters graduate who spent five months working in Nepal for a development NGO. Now I am travelling India, always up for catching up over coffee and hikes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people as I travel, hear travel experiences, create memories, learn and explore places together.

Interests

I play the ukulele for four years now and it is the best travel companion. I have a blog and enjoy writing regularly. I love acting and theatre, arts and photography (owning those blurry phone pictures! 😅) I have a knack for languages and love meeting and interacting with people - I really do believe we have so much to learn from one another.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite book is The Prophet by Khalil Gibran, and I carry it with me almost everywhere I go. I love all sorts of music (from Middle Eastern, to classical, folk, jazz) but my favourite band of all times is The Beatles. Some friends recently got me hooked on Indian films (my personal favourite is Queen) and I'm generally a Wes Anderson and Tarantino fan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent 5 months living and working in Nepal, seeing the Nepali countryside and some gorgeous Himalayan view!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to play the ukulele (at least how to play 'In the Jungle'!), Some useful phrases in my mother tongue (Hebrew) or other languages I know (German, Arabic and Nepali) and how to make a tasty Shakshuka. Would love to learn how to cook some local dishes, hear different travel stories and experiences and listen to local music and watch some films!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Delicious Israeli food, ukulele lessons, language / culture exchange.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, India, Italy, Jordan, Mauritius, Romania, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

Israel, Nepal, Switzerland, United Kingdom
