Overview
About Me
I am currently a senior at Carnegie Mellon studying Computer Science. My life has been a coast to coast US experience -- I grew up in Dallas, live in Pittsburgh right now but, will start a job in San Francisco next year, and have lived for short periods of time in Seattle, DC, and Colorado. I have a pretty diverse set of interests from backpacking and skiing, to ping pong, to computer science and philosophy. I love just talking to people about their interests and exchanging stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I found out about couchsurfing from one of my roomates who backpacked through Europe with the site. We've hosted a few couchsurfers here in Pittsburgh now and all of them have been a lot of fun. I'm haven't surfed myself yet but am excited to try it out on a trip to Japan, China, Taiwan, and Korea after I graduate.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Hayao Miyazaki, Clint Eastwood, Martin Scorsese, Coen Brothers
Books: Scott McCloud, Alfred Bester, always trying to read more...
Music: I am yet to find a genre I don't like some of sometimes. I never get tired of Rock or EDM, and I've been moved by great classical music before.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Built an operating system from scratch over the course of 6 weeks. Hands down one of the hardest things I've ever done.
