About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To finally finish my bachelor's!

ABOUT ME

I love learning, which may be why I've been studying for over 7 years for my bachelor's degree. At the moment I study philosophy and neurosciences. Apart from studying, I'm an active person: I create music (I sing and play the bass), I'm engaged in the student union and I try to live environmentally friendly. At the moment I'm spending most of my days at the university library.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once when I was 16 I forgot my keys and my grandma, with whom I was living with at the time, couldn't hear the doorbell. Luckily one of our neighbours was just outside and offered that I could sleep on their couch. They even gave me a spare toothbrush! That was perhaps my most spontaneous couchsurfing moment.

Interests

My main interests are music, food and art. I like going for walks, especially when I have human or canine company and when the weather is stormy and the fresh air moves my hair around. I love spending the whole day just chilling with a cat or a dog. I really enjoy going on concerts and sometimes I'm on stage myself. I practice yoga and I like taking care of my plants. Sometimes I also play video games.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - everything with a nice bass ;)

Movies - Wes Anderson is one of my favourite directors. I also really like children's movies and could watch them any time!

Books - As a philosophy student I read A LOT. For "private reading" I like classic literature. At the moment I am reading "The American" by Henry James.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing experiences I have had so far was travelling to finnish lapland with Erasmus. It was such a magical time, getting to ride a husky sleigh (the dogs are so strong!!), talking with Sami people, having so much fun going snow shoe walking, getting to know all the people that came from so different countries alot better and of course our trip was crowned by seeing the northern lights three(!) times. It is truly magical in Lapland and I would advise anyone to go there!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share some words in different languages and teach the basics of formal logic.

Please tell me about how you speak, I'm fascinated by language and linguistics.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Food, beer and a good time :)

If you have a dog I would love to take it on a walk for/with you!

Also, some of my friends let me cut their hair and were rather satisfied with the results - so if your locks are getting too long, I can cut them.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
