Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Vikram..... a counselor by profession and a traveler by passion.
I truly enjoy connecting with people from different walks of life. Whether it’s sharing stories over a cup of tea or learning about a new culture, I believe every interaction adds something beautiful to life.
Traveling isn’t just about places for me, it’s about people, experiences, and the emotions that stay with you.
I love exploring new destinations, meeting locals, and immersing myself in the culture, food, and everyday life of each place I visit.
I’m friendly, open-minded, and always up for meaningful conversations. Let's share experiences, ideas, and good vibes!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe in the beauty of genuine human connections beyond borders.
As someone who loves to travel and interact with people, this platform is the perfect way for me to meet locals, understand their way of life, and experience places more authentically.
Being a counselor, I naturally enjoy meaningful conversations and cultural exchange. I feel that Couchsurfing is more than just staying at someone’s place, it's about sharing stories, learning from each other, and building friendships that cross geographical boundaries.

Music, Movies, and Books
🎵 Music:
I enjoy soulful music, light Bollywood classics, travel playlists, and sometimes calming instrumental tunes. Music that connects with emotions and tells a story always touches me.
Movies:
I love movies that leave an impact — whether it’s inspiring, emotional, or simply fun. Some of my favorites include The Pursuit of Happyness, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Yeh Jwani hai Diwani, 3-idiots and Tamasha.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once counseled and motivated a teenager who was struggling with anxiety and had lost interest in life and after weeks of open conversations and trust-building, that same person later started mentoring others in their community.
That moment made me realize how deeply a small act of listening and empathy can transform someone’s life.
For me, that’s more amazing than climbing a mountain because I helped someone rise within.
Teach, Learn, Share
As a counselor, I love sharing insights about mental well-being, emotional intelligence, and effective communication. I can also share tips on how to build a positive mindset, handle stress, or even motivate yourself during tough times. And of course, I’d love to share travel stories and local experiences from India!
I’m always eager to learn about different cultures, languages, local traditions, and people's life journeys. I believe every person I meet has something new to teach me even if it’s just a new way of looking at the world.
I’d love to share meaningful conversations, food, laughter, travel experiences, and a genuine human connection. I believe in kindness, open hearts, and stories that stay with us long after the journey ends.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share meaningful conversations, respectful company, and a positive mindset. I love listening to life stories and sharing my own experiences as a counselor and traveler.
I’d be happy to exchange cultural insights.
I also enjoy cooking simple Indian dishes (if the host is open to it!), and I’m always happy to help around the house, plan short day trips, or just be a good listener and travel companion.
More than anything, I bring openness, gratitude, and a deep respect for the hospitality I receive.
