I'm a visual storyteller, wanderer, and digital nomad who loves to meet new people to discover pieces of humanity. Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with a cultural difference that this world can offer. And I learned to be inspired by that. Based on that, I have lived my life as a volunteer and youth worker to immerse myself in a different culture, learn about different customs, and appreciate a variety of foods.

I love arts, travel, and mindfulness on top of that. Enjoy sharing stories about the youthful moments, staring into an empty wall for an hour, or philosophizing about life. Currently living in Rotterdam for the time being until the wind takes me somewhere, or I'll fall in love with the place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of seeing a country from the eyes of a local. The conventional way of experiencing the country, culture, or meeting people wasn't appealing to me. On top of that, it's becoming more difficult to find places where there are no tourists. Hence, I'd love to see the country the way its locals see them and meet people I haven't met to hear their stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

The line of playlists in my life is like a living organism - evolving and changing with time. But some have stayed with me, like indie-folk, ethnic electronic, and old-school hip-hop. I could mention the artists, but it will take a long time to go through playlists.

As the movies go, everything that is sci-fi, psychology, or adventure will keep me invested. And, movies like Into the Wild, Captain Fantastic, Ready Player One, or Trainspotting can repeat in my cinema.

I lose myself in the pages of my books. Mostly non-fiction about psychology, sociology, or human behavior, but also fiction books about dystopian worlds or thrillers.
Side note: I'm a recovering fan of self-help books; that is before topics in them started reappearing, and every new book seemed stale.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I accidentally hitched the ride from the celebrity the first time I tried hitchhiking. And I accepted the reality that the world won't believe without a selfie I didn't take because of the amazement I had in that car.

Teach, Learn, Share

"Everyone is a student, and everyone is a teacher."

I always love to keep learning, whether its about the world, people, topics I'm interested in, or myself. But more importantly, I love the idea of unlearning and relearning old concepts. Sometimes I think I'm boring people with the questions, but I cannot help but be curious.

When it comes to sharing what I know, I'm always open to discussing topics on anything. Teach how to make bracelets with a few strings, shoot photos or give questions to reflect on.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides my friendly and open personality, I can share my time and attention, as they're the most precious resources we can have. And whether it contributes to the conversation, a dance, or a jam session. I'd love to spend time together. Yet, I also love to help people and support in any way I can.

Also, I love traveling with at least one musical instrument and jamming. Unfortunately, I don't sing, but I can share a melody or a drawing from my sketchbook.
