Overview
About Me
A kayak guide, turned solar installer, looking to get into wildland firefighting, I'm just another wanderer looking for a way to save the world. Learned you have to appreciate it as much as you can along the way, and that comes from being open, and doing what we can for each other.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Live and let live. I have learned a lot about people in my 20 years of life, and I know that we have at least something to learn from everyone we meet. It could just be: there is still some good in this world Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for. Or, as the first couchsurfer I ever met told me, "You can either make money, or you can make memories. You can never spend those memories."
Interests
Finding places no one has ever been before, having fun, being creative, Summiting mountains, doing things people think they can't, and showing them it's possible, Snacking. Making new culinary works of art. Animals. Reading.

Music, Movies, and Books
All of them. Except The Mist.
I like finding new stuff though.
Local music is the best, anything else from indie folk to Springsteen, really just dig music with meaning.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got detained mistakenly in the far northeast of Iceland (I was innocent I promise)
Teach, Learn, Share
Empathy. Misunderstanding is the foundation of all opposition to peace. Everybody you meet has a story. Many will have been much harder than your own, and they are who they are because of the reality of their life. Always be compassionate.
