I'm a student studying in Wageningen, a small but cozy town in the Netherlands. I love traveling, but I have never been out of Europe, can't wait to discover the rest of the world soon! I'm a calm, easily satisfied girl with a love for the outdoors and I would love to exhange some stories!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and discovering new places, and I think that the best way to really get to know a place and a culture is to stay with locals! Also I love to meet new people and have a good time with them

Being out in the nature, meeting new people, especially combining those too ! I also like to visit cities. I love all animals, eating good food and everything that is scandinavian, and getting to know new cultures around the world

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy most music, therfor I listen a lot to the radio. When I want to relax I love to listen to Tracy Chapman, Norah Jones or Johny Cash, and the best car music is Bruce Springsteen! I like weird arthouse movies and mindfucking movies but sometimes I'm just craving for a terrible chickflick.. I used to read a lot, but lately not anymore, but when I read it is dutch literature

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After highschool I left to Swedish Lapland to become a sleddogguide, and staying with tourists in the wilderniss. Can't explain how much I've learned there!

Teach, Learn, Share

I always love learning about cultures and religions. After my bachelor I want to combine the themes tourism, nature and cultures. I could teach you Dutch, but I'm not sure if that is really interesting ;) Of course I can tell you about Dutch culture, and how to stay warm in -40, if you are ever planning on going up north!
