About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live my life until my heart gets pounding :-)
ABOUT ME
Thanks for viewing my profile :-) My door is open to all without prejudice; young or old, black or white, gay or straight... but especially to all inspiring and adventurous people who love to smile!
However, CouchSurfing is NOT a dating site so if you send me messages or reguest in a hope of getting lucky, don't waste your time, you will be ignored...
I only host active CouchSurfers (those who both surf&host), those who understand what the concept is about: an exchange ideas, knowledge, views, experiences, perspectives, recipes for life... :-)
Prague is filled with beauty and can be enjoyed and explored for days, months, or a lifetime, but I think two days are a good minimum to enjoy Prague's sights and magical atmosphere and additional time will allow you to head out of Prague and visit some of the other wonderful places in the Czech Republic :-)
It will be my pleasure to stroll the streets with you and let you experience even the less touristy side of my lovely city. I hope Prague continues to surprise you at every corner...
So, if you want to meet me, read my profile, send your personal request and don't forget to include the code word >> AMELIE <<
PHILOSOPHY
"Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger"
"Peregrination charms our senses with such unspeakable and sweet variety that some count him that never traveled, a kind of prisoner, and pity his case: that, from his cradle to his old age, he beholds the same still, still, still, the same, the same." - Robert Burton
"I learned that the richness of life is found in adventure. It develops self-reliance and independence. Life then teems with excitement. There is stagnation only in security." - William Orville Douglas

Music, Movies, and Books
I like reading an existentialist and magical realism novels so my favorite authors are especially: Dostoyevsky, Simone de Beauvoir, Hesse, Muriel Barbery, Toni Morrison, Milan Kundera, Isabel Allende, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Reinaldo Arenas, Tolstoi, etc.
And my best book EVER? - Definately "The Idiot" by Dostoyevsky. So human, so intimate and so real in its characters' discourse, actions and exposition! I just couldn't get enough of prince Myshkin (the idiot) of his honest soul, the wealth of his big heart and the broadness of his mind. Miss him all the time I think about this book :-(
But I like all literature rich in beautiful language, literature that develops our imagination, literature that touches us and stimulates our emotions by strumming on our own experiences and feelings...
MUSIC:
Bilal (if you don't know his "Butterfly" song, go for it, it's really an outstanding piece! Ohhhh, I love every second of it...), Robert Glasper, Bobby Mc Ferrin (his "Invocation" is probably the most beautiful piece of music that I've ever heard) Carla Bley trio, Sigur Ros, Jun Miyake, Andreya Triana... the list is huge and eclectic...
FILMS:
The Artist, Amelie, Breaking the Waves (extraordinary film by Lars von Trier, uffff, an incredible, deeply moving experience!) Ondas do Destino, Mar Adentro, Before Night Falls, Amadeus, American Beauty, Matrix, Braveheart (damn good movie, showing what one man's commitment to freedom can do. Mel's slamming performance in this film was dynamite. Fredooooooooom!!!! I cried like a river. But I have to admit that I am actually able to cry with Shrek and Fiona too :-))))))) Anyway, Braveheart will always be one of my all time favorites.)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing thing done:
1. Getting a regular sinfully-pleasurable attention from my favourite Thai masseuse :-DDDDDD
2. I am very proud and lucky that I've teared apart conventional assumptions and I've reached the luxury of living-more-and-working-less lifestyle design. I do job I truly love and work only two to three days in a week! But despite the fact that I am actually living sort of a dream now, I don't feel like a "king". No, I'm just grateful. Because life taught me he can be very turbulent and everything can change in the blink of an eye. But anyway, I need to tell you, guys, trust in your dreams! A world is full of infinite options and it's up to YOU only to bring your lifestyle to a level you like! :-DDDDD
Amazing things on my wishlist (consists of overcoming fears, achieving goals, realizing dreams and even simple pleasures...):
1. Buy a round-the-world air ticket
2. Learn and ride my own motorcycle. Well they say it's a sign of midlife crisis when people in my beautiful (!) age place an order for a Ferrari or a Harley-Davidson. But... hmmm... too young to understand the question! :-DDDDDDDD
3. Sky diving (it absolutely terrifies me! :-)))
4. Sail, not to tie at anchor for a while. Just smell the sea and feel the sky.
5. Reach a port! :-DDDD
6. Swimming with dolphins. Sure it sounds cliché as hell, but who cares? Above that, it's much better then frying a mushrooms! :-)
7. Me in a strong arms of the rain and my lips in a grin of pure joy. Why? Because I'll be DANCING!! :-))))
8. Attend an Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater show (I have been totally amazed and fulfilled with aesthetic beauty and soulful dancing when I saw these afro-american dancers in CR long time ago. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!)
9. Watch the top 100 best movies of all-time
10. Build a sand sculpture or an igloo
10. Eat outside my comfort zone. Maybe snake? :-)))
11. Learn to draw (DONE 25.12.2014, here is the result after attending 2-days drawing on the right side of the brain course, picture before and after: https://scontent-a-mxp.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/t1/1509210_10202382682721422_1283272283_n.jpg)
12. Write a book
13. Read at least twelve books per year
14. Become a grandma :-)
15. LOVE and being LOVED!!!!! :-DDDDD
Teach, Learn, Share
My dog can teach you dining etiquette!! :-DDDD
