About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make music and make merry. To laugh, to sing, and to be as absurd as possible!

ABOUT ME

I make music all day, every day. I'm a supplier of useless, interesting well-rounded facts. I'll win at thumb wrestling. I'll take all your cassettes and VHSs, please. I trash-pick. I collect things. I enjoy a nice pot of tea, an anarchist punk show, and some freshly knitted woolen socks.

PHILOSOPHY

Go with the flow, but direct your own currents. Hey- life is what you make of it. Might as well be as happy, loving, and aware as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Every couchsurfer I've ever met has been incredibly warm and nice- more than I ever expected.

Music, Movies, and Books

Harold and Maude, The Graduate, Juno, Amélie, Easy Rider, The Breakfast Club, Clerks, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, My Left Foot.

The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Apathy (and other small victories), Disco Bloodbath, The Namesake, Water for Elephants, The Picture of Dorian Gray, White Oleander.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Eating dinner at a host family's home in Rabat, Morocco (in the Medina). My lovely host mother fed me far too much of her delicious tajine chicken and mint tea (with no objections from me), and afterward insisted on taking me jewelry shopping. She told me I was her daughter, and kissed me as she would a very old friend.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll swaps stories and make music with you, teach you how to alter clothes or make jewelry. Take you on inebriated tours of the Washington monuments. And if you surf my couch, you'll have to stop me from showing you my favorite Greek restaurant in DC.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Croatia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Morocco, Switzerland, Virgin Islands, U.S.

Countries I’ve Lived In

Netherlands, United States
