Hi! I'm Norbert and I love traveling, hiking, taking photos, talking to people and having amazing time.
I have recently finished my studies and moved to Dublin, Ireland to work for Facebook!

I'm originally from Lithuania, but I haven't lived there since 2015, when I moved to study in the UK. I then did my double-degree exchange in France and work experience in Germany. My international journey keeps going and I can't wait to see what comes next!

As I have just moved to Dublin, I would like to meet new people :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I've been traveling solo most of the time, I realized that something was missing - it's people! Thanks to my studies and work experience abroad, I realized that staying in touch with locals and meeting new people is the best way to learn about the new location and have more fun! I simply love this idea!

Interests

I love traveling, both solo and with friends. No matter how difficult it sometimes gets, I always try to enjoy every moment of it! I also love photography - this is partly a reason, why I started to travel so often. Exploring new places is way more cool with a camera. :) I'm also very passionate about business and politics.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love alternative music, but sometimes I don't mind listening to everything that Spotify has to offer! My favourite bands are Imagine Dragons, Bastille, Zayde Wølf and the list just never ends!

Movies, hmm, I'm more into vlogs on YouTube, not so much into movies. I only watch the most popular movies which my wonderful friends recommend.

And books! I love books about traveling and personal development. The best one I've read is Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson. It's just so inspiring!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Decision to study abroad! This decision was definitely difficult to make, but I did it and I'm proud of it!
In 2015, I moved to the UK to begin my studies in Newcastle, UK. In 2016, I received an opportunity to do a double-degree in Bordeaux, France and I said yes! Afterwards I moved to Munich, Germany in 2018 to do my internship. It was absolutely worth it!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you love photography, I will do my best to teach you some landscape/cityscape photography techniques. Even if you don't have a professional camera, don't worry, I took some of my best shots with a smartphone!

I'm also very passionate about business development/strategy, so given my previous and current experience in the industry, I would love to share what I know and learn ever more!
