ABOUT ME

Hey! I am Nikki. I am in the middle of changing careers. I finished university in 2009, worked in hospitality finance, then 2 years later I quit my secure job in a horrible economy.. A bit of a risky move.. But I have no regrets AT ALL! I will be traveling until I head back to school for my passion - photography, and animal/wildlife sciences. It r eally feels amazing to drop everything and go for what i love. Traveling has been an unreal experience and an amazing way to kick off this new chapter in my life. I have met so many new lifelong friends and have had such incredible experiences that I never want my trip to end! I hope to have the chance to meet you along the way!

PHILOSOPHY

Unleash your untamed spirit and follow your heart! Haa sounds ridiculous but I'm serious. I never want to look back on my life and think what if. Just go for it! Try everything!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing at the moment across Asia and Europe as much as I can.. other than that.. hostels.. but I prefer to meet people. I hope to someday host people in the US!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with Lokesh and Rajeeve in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India! It was awesome. Seeing the city from and old fort at nighttime!

Met Yanni through a friend who couch surfed with him. He took us around Athens, trying different foods and seeing sites along the way. Then he brought us to Kosta, Greece for the weekend to see the island of Spetses, and to go rock climbing in a ravine. It was unreal! I loved every minute of my time in and around Athens and Yanni was a huge reason for that. It is so hard to leave Greece after an experience like that!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Himalayan Range!! If there is one place on earth everyone must go it is to Nepal. It is one of the most powerful, humbling sights I have ever seen.
