ABOUT ME
I have a beard to which my body is attached, humble eye-brows which can go really down to my eyes when I smile that I love to perform, a hook-nose which keeps growing so that I can smell coffee from a distance, tiny ears which keep shrinking (hopefully not) yet they can detect the beats from an old school sound system, more or less 63.5 kilograms in weight, curly hair which can get really messy; other than these things, stuff is happening to me and I react to them then the stuff react back and so on - as the nature of things seems to do it all the time. I try to walk through this action and reaction cycle with a positive vibe and a pinch of awkward attitude, especially towards institutional and bureaucratic shenanigans. Sometimes I enjoy the nervous silence in elevators - other times not. And I am suspicious that some electronic devices do not like me a lot so that they prefer to perform unnecessary malfunctions - but I love machines with the will to power.
PHILOSOPHY
I am not good at personal philosophy. But:

by Richard Brautigan
1. Get enough food to eat, and eat it.
[vegan :)]
2. Find a place to sleep where it is quiet, and sleep there.
3. Reduce intellectual and emotional noise until you arrive at the silence of yourself, and listen to it.
4.

Also, I like a free day starting with strong coffee, reading, listening music, watching movies, smoking and relaxing, and finishing with few bottles.
Academically, I am researching the history of animals. I am also interested in everything piracy-related =) For more info.: https://metu.academia.edu/OnurAlptekin
I love to make strange noises out of jaw harp. Yet, I figured out that I am talentless :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been taught the art of absolutely no-thing by a gray heron near a pond and lived with a gray dada cat called Boris.
Teach, Learn, Share
Things I want to Learn:
- How to play blues harmonica. I started to learn it by myself but I am still a beginner - not even a beginner.
- About different types of coffee brewing and local beverages.
I can Teach:
- How to make an espresso by the moca way and the Neapolitan way, and how to make a Turkish coffee and be a coffee fortune-teller :)
- How to play jaw harp, at least making strange noises out of it.
