I love traveling with my two sons, greatly enjoy learning about people and traveling. I also enjoy meeting and hosting fellow travelers.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In a world-wide perspective, you cannot have too many friends. I believe in helping when you can as a way to pay forward for the help I've received.
I greatly enjoy hosting travelers because I have learned and enjoyed so much when I have been a host or a guest.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My kids and I host often and love having a home full of guests invested in the spirit of sharing experiences in a positive way. I used to host in El Paso, Texas. Amarillo, TX a couple of years ago, and I am ready to start hosting again in Kansas.

My sons and I traveled through New England years ago. Wer were hosted by an amazing group of people in a number of cities. We visited colleges where Sam applied for admission. Joseph was at the time, considering attending college out-of-state. He is currently a rising Junior in a Texas college. We are grateful to all our hosts for their support in what was a wonderful life-changing experience!

Interests

I am a life-long learner, I love art in its many expressions, enjoy architectural design; I love to go for walks with my kids and friends, travel anywhere, morning coffee and good conversation. I try to live life to the fullest.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love instrumental and classical music, some jazz and traditional music from Mexico, Ireland, Argentina and France. Love Classic Rock&Roll, Blues and Cajun.
One of my favorite movies is Finding Nemo because it is about parental love and overcoming our fear of the unknown and considering different views from our own.
I like classic rock, Dylan, L.Cohen, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Witnessed the birth of my children. The amazing perfection found in the natural world, the incredible kindness and talents of most people, and their enduring generosity, even under difficult circumstances.
Nature is bursting with wonders. Studying nature and science helps me enjoy life ever more.
Through my work in science and engineering, I believe in global peace and security.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love the energy and enthusiasm of friends, travelers, coworkers and previous couchsurfing guests.
I am currently working as automation engineer for a major pharma company.
I used to teach bright high school kids and study and work with very intelligent and talented individuals during graduate school.
I now work with highly skilled professionals in an engineering and manufacturing environment. Every single person has something they can teach me, and I have things to share too. Discovering that, benefits everyone.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a house and you'd stay in a guest bedroom with its own bathroom. The fridge is normally well stocked. You will feel welcome here.
