About Me

ABOUT ME

A graduate from the Religion and Culture Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree Program at WLU in Canada in April 2011 and is currently retreating to the beautiful Island of IOS in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea! Following her return from teaching English and returning to her Greek roots on the island of Ios in the Cycladic Islands of Greece in 2009 – 2010, Helen completed her final year as an undergraduate and was the President of the 2010-2011 WLU Religion and Culture Society. In March of 2011 she and her R&C team successfully ran 10th Annual Interdisciplinary Arts Conference themed WAKE UP! The World Awaits You featuring keynote performance by the famous Canadian personality - Fred Penner and finale encore by sitar maestro Irshad Khan. Helen’s passion lies in the heart of the Academy and the pursuit of knowledge. In discovering all that she knows is that she does not know, Helen’s philosophy on life embraces an ever changing and always growing perspective and worldview. Her travels include countries such as Turkey, India, Greece, France, Cuba, Domincan Republic, Thailand, Mexico and England. Helen loves music, animals, children, learning, teaching, loving and living. A student, a teacher, a lover of the mystical – Helen Reid hopes to change the world, one conversation at a time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
