Overview
About Me
Hi!
My name is Ohad. I'm an Israeli\ German 25 traveller.
For the last three years i have been travelling around the globe.
I spent eight months in south east Asia. 6 of these months i spent in incredible India.
The time in India was life changing for me as i learn so much about my self and about the world outside my comfort zone.
After my magical time in south east Asia i went to united states and volunteered for two months on an amazing farm in California which grew organic fruits and vegetables for their own use.
This time was very significant for me since i learnt so many practical skills.
Since December 2016 till june 2017 i have been in beautiful Australia, working, travelling and volunteering.
Continuing to experience and enjoy a lot from the amazing journey that i'm having.
Travelling and what's comes with it is what i love to do the most.
The opportunity to get to know different cultures, different people (with other point of views then what i have), different food and obviously unique nature.
All these things make me feel super grateful for having the ability to fly around the world like a bird!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because i love people!
Humans are the most interesting thing existing , and every person have a story that lead him to this point he situated at, and i love to just listen to those stories.
To get to a new place and having to point of view of a local means much more than coming to a new place as a confused tourist.
I'm happy to be on the guiding side and take people from all over the world to the secret beautiful places in my country, and i'm glad to follow locals in an unknown places for me.

My music taste is pretty much diverse, i'm willing to listen to anything new.
but if i'm must choose my favorite genres it will be:
-indie folk
-indie rock
-indian music including sacred mantras
-classic rock off course
and much more....
During the last years i didn't had much time to watch movies,
but if i do find the time i prefer it to be something i can learn something out of it like documentary movies.
Reading books it's one of my favorite activities and it is so hard to sort it out by favorites.
I can say that during my last year i'm really inspired and influenced from Paulo Coelho books, specially " The Alchemist".
And also from haruki murakami books, his writing is incredible in my opinion.
