Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I’ve discovered this great opportunity to meet wonderful people after my friend told me about his experiences, and since my first Couchsurfing trips when I decided to give it a try, I’ve been meeting the most interesting people in the world. We still keep in touch with some of my hosts and surfers, and I’m endlessly grateful for this opportunity to learn a lot about different cultures and personalities. I don’t see Couchsurfing as just a free accommodation, but the way you dive into the culture and share experiences that you’d never find staying at the soulless hotels. I deeply appreciate this trust-based environment, and getting to know plenty of things I’d never discover on my own. Well, once again: I’m endlessly grateful for all the CS experiences I’ve ever had, and I’m sincerely sure this community is a treasury of the most real, open-minded and interesting people of this planet. And I simply love getting inspired by wonderful human beings — what can ignite you more?
Music, Movies, and Books
I try to be open to almost everything, but there are some of my favourite ones: Music: Muse, Queen, Coldplay, ДДТ Books: Sergei Dovlatov, Irving Stone, Victor Hugo
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I’ve done skydiving, visited the base camp of Everest and grew a sunflower on the windowsill.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m eager to learn, understand different ways of thinking and get inspired by humans’ uniqueness and diversity. I can teach you my language (no swearing words (I’m pretty sure somebody has already tought you them)), cooking from almost nothing (student superskills), wild traveling, ice skating and photography, and I can surely give you some tips how to deal with bears :)
What I Can Share With Hosts
Inspiration to visit the North, tips for exploring my home country (and even more tips to explore some of my favourite countries!)
