Hey! I’m Oli, a 25yo Brit currently working in the tech realm as a product manager.

I spend my free time in the gym, swimming, exploring new places, hanging out with mates and finding my next favourite coffee spot. Also have recently developed an addiction to cheap flights and weekend getaways.

I grew up between London and Singapore (mum is Malaysian and dad is English) so there’s no single place that entirely defines ‘home’ for me. This is probably why I’m so interested in different ways of living and trying new things with an open mind. I feel like I’m thriving when I’m immersed somewhere new and connecting with people outside of my usual bubble.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Unfortunately I lost my old CS account as I deleted it to try a different website, but then realised that CS was unbeatable.

I had some great experiences meeting hosts and travellers last summer so hoping to do that again. A host once told me that couchsurfing was like surfing someone’s life and I couldn’t agree more.

I could teach you some conversational mandarin (I’m quite shit at it), we could hit a workout together, explore some areas or just chat over drinks.
