Overview
About Me
I'm a graduate of Ohio State seeking to see the world whenever possible. I've done this by touring with my band, working biology-based jobs where necessary, and wandering off on my own to see something I've yet to see.
I'm very open minded, anyways seeking to try something new, and though I'm pretty introverted I like to meet new people, especially when traveling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
There's a lot of the world I haven't seen, and I've learned by touring that the best way to really experience is to get to know some friendly locals that enjoy helping people along there way. Whether it's with my band or alone, I'd love to get to know you and your neighborhood!
I used to tour in an indie-rock/powerpunk/ska? band called All Over the Place, and use this site to find places for us to crash most of the time! Some of the coolest people we have meet we have done so couch surfing. I have since couchsurfed alone and have had awesome experiences, and I would like to have more where possible!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As mentioned before, I've tried the eastern half of the country plenty of times! (6 going on 7) and have seen nearly every state east of the Mississippi, though I'm quite unfamiliar with the west.
I'm currently in Flagstaff, AZ, volunteering in a conservation corps while exploring the southwest on my off days.
Teach, Learn, Share
As a student of Biology, I'm very interested in natural history and ecological processes. and find it fun to educate people about it if they're so inclined. I'm an amateur birder, and I'm always looking to become familiar with an areas fauna/flora, as well as to discuss what I do know about it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Trading books would be a cool idea, to help cycle my collection while taking others peoples' recommendations. I'm also happy to help do some chores and errands as a thank you!
