One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When mountain biking into Copper Canyon Mexico, we were hosted for lunch in a rural home that seemed to have mostly tumbleweeds for neighbors. Great home cooked food, warm and gracious hosts, and laughing children reminded me of the universal good nature of all people. Though language was a barrier, communication was not and the quiet dignity of these wonderful people will always be remembered.

The new satisfaction of volunteering in the community, how to cook something fabulous with whatever happens to be on hand, and why having a therapist for a partner is not a bad thing.
