My name is Oriane. I am from a small city in Belgium which is called Verviers.
I studied languages and litterature (English and Spanish) but also communication in Liege (Belgium) and I have been living and working in Brussels for two and a half years, first as a teacher, then as a project and communication manager. Now, I am looking for a new job more related to my values (in a more humanitarian and international environnent). I am also doing a training to be a life coach.

To introduce myself a bit, I would describe myself as a sociable and open-minded person who basically loves travelling, discovering new places and people !
I also like engaging myself in many projects and organizing events (I was in the international organisation "Erasmus Student Network" for years among other things), music, reading, psychology/ self development, trekking, yoga (I was lucky to do a two weeks yoga programme this summer during my solo trip in South India), cinema, photography, going out, etc.
And I enjoy tasting good craft beers (as a Belgian☺️) or a nice wine with friends ! Then, I cannot live without my morning coffee ! (Small but vital pleasure of the day :D )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I really like the concept of travelling and meeting people at the same time to discover their culture. Or simply sharing mine in my country ! I've done couchsurfing in Croatia and Ireland and I really enjoyed the experience !
